MLB Best Bets
Cleveland Guardians (+142) at New York Yankees (-168) | O/U 7.5 (+104/-128)
The Yankees need some wins as they come into this game dropping four straight and seven of their last nine. Without Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton in the lineup, you're seeing a significant drop in offensive production by scoring two or fewer runs in nine of their last 11. Their previous win was with Cole on the mound, and he looks unhittable to start the season with a 1.11 ERA and opponents batting .169.
The Guardians posted three in the ninth for the comeback win in the first game of this series. This is supposed to be a contact-based lineup, but they haven't been successful to start the year, as their BABIP is just .278, which is 26th. Tanner Bibee will get his second-career start after a successful debut against Colorado, allowing just an earned run in 5.2 innings.
The Yankees should be able to pull off the win going against a rookie pitcher with Cole. The value of the Yanks on the money line is not good enough, so I also like the under with two struggling offenses.
Pick: Under 7.5 (-128)

NBA Playoffs Best Bets
Los Angeles Lakers at Golden State Warriors
It's LeBron James vs. Stephen Curry.
This matchup is a little earlier than others between the two greats.
The Lakers defeated the Warriors in three of four games in the regular season and took care of business at home in their final game against the Grizzlies, 125-85.
The Lakers have done well defensively, holding teams to a 53.9% effective field goal percentage. They've also rarely allowed teams to get to the foul line. The offense hasn't always been consistent, but with James and Anthony Davis on the floor, Los Angeles has been getting much better.
On the other hand, although the Warriors only won one more game in the regular season, Golden State has scored at a higher rate and has played better defense too. The Lakers should find themselves at the foul line more frequently, but the Warriors certainly have better shooters.
Both teams are coming off big wins with at least 120 points. We've seen multiple games finish with one team at least scoring 109 points. We've had two games with the Warriors and Lakers, each scoring over 120. I think we'll see more of that tonight. Take the Over.

NHL Playoffs Best Bets
Florida Panthers (+135) vs. Toronto Maple Leafs (-155) | O/U 6.5 (-115/-105)
The Maple Leafs got the 19-year-old monkey off their back when they topped the Lightning 4-2 in the opening round, marking the first time they've advanced to the second round since 2004. As for the Panthers, they made history by knocking off the greatest team of all time, the Boston Bruins. The Atlantic Division foes get underway tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON.
I'm not going to overthink this matchup and ride with the over 6.5 goals in Game 1. In terms of goals allowed per game, the Panthers are the worst team still alive in the postseason, with a mark of 3.7 GAA. As for the Maple Leafs, they're seventh after surrendering 3.3 goals per contest against the Lightning. We know how important goaltending is in the playoffs, and in my opinion, it's the biggest weakness for both the Panthers and Leafs.
The Panthers proved that they're the real deal, and they won't shy away from any test, especially if it's on the road. Florida won three of their four road games in the first round and found the back of the net 15 times over the four-game sample. I expect the Panthers to have no issue going toe-to-toe with an offense that's as talented as Toronto.
