Los Angeles Lakers @ Milwaukee Bucks
First, it should be noted that LeBron James is doubtful for this game. However, Anthony Davis and Giannis Antetokounmpo should be good to go, as they are both listed as probable.
The Lakers have been very inconsistent on the defensive end. It took all 150 points to defeat the Pacers last time out after allowing 134.3 points per 100 possessions in that game. The Lakers won't force many turnovers but are good for limiting foul shot attempts, with or without LeBron in the lineup.
Meanwhile, the Lakers will also get their fair share of foul shots. They lead the league in foul shot margin and should win the battle this time around, too. The Lakers have still been consistent on offense, getting good looks and scoring at a high rate.
The Bucks won't get to the foul line often. However, the team has shot at least a 56.7% effective field goal percentage in five consecutive games. The offense has also been better on the offensive glass and continues to limit turnovers at a solid rate. However, despite the defensive effort against the Thunder last time out, the Bucks haven't really been very good defensively lately.
Since March 6, the Bucks have allowed at least 116.9 points per 100 possessions in seven of their last nine games.
Therefore, I'll gladly back the Over 232.5 in this one.

Edmonton Oilers @ Winnipeg Jets
The night continues with a heavyweight tilt in the Western Conference as the Oilers take on the Jets. Edmonton (88 points) is currently second in the Pacific Division, while Winnipeg (93 points) is holding onto the third spot in the Central. This contest is set for 8:00 p.m. ET from the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Neither of these teams is playing its best hockey right now. The Oilers have dropped two straight games, while the Jets enter tonight's game riding a three-game slide. I'm going to play Edmonton to win this contest. What's most worrisome about Winnipeg is their defense. Over the three-game losing streak, they've been outscored 13-4. That's unlike their defense, which is usually one of the best in the league.
This isn't exactly an opponent where you simply get back on track defensively. The Oilers have arguably the best offense in the NHL, ranking second in both overall offenses (3.6 GPG) and on the power play (27.54%). Edmonton has scored at least three goals in four straight games, and they're averaging 4.3 goals per game over their last seven contests. I think Edmonton's the better overall team, so I'll play them to get back in the win column tonight.
Bet: Oilers Moneyline (-120)

#4 Alabama Crimson Tide vs. #1 North Carolina Tar Heels (Thursday)
The Tar Heels have looked incredibly impressive on their way to the Sweet 16. Big wins over Wagner and Michigan State really showcased their talent. They'll face an Alabama team that is one of the most successful offensive squads in the country. These two teams love to get up and down the court and shoot the ball well. Expect a high-flying affair in this one.
North Carolina has excelled offensively in this tournament, scoring 90 and 85 in their two games, but it was the defense that really stepped up when needed to put the gas down against Michigan State. They force tough shots and rebound exceptionally well. Their one weakness is a lack of turnovers forced, but when it comes to tough shotmaking, Alabama is one of the best in the country. Their 56.7% eFG% is top 10 in the nation. The Tar Heel defense will be facing one of their toughest tests.
On the other side of the court, the North Carolina offense will be a handful for Alabama's defense. The Crimson Tide are one of the few teams left in this tournament with a defense ranked outside of the KenPom top 100 in adjusted defensive rating. They don't turn their opponents over, and they send them to the foul line. This could mean a big scoring night for a senior-laden team led by RJ Davis and Armando Bacot.
Both teams will want to get out and push the pace. North Carolina's defense has been elite this season, but Alabama's offense can be difficult to defend. Meanwhile, the Crimson Tide defense will have major difficulties with this experienced Tar Heel attack. This could end up being one of the most exciting games of the tournament so far.
Bet: Over 172.5 Total Points (-115)
