Here are today’s best bets.

NFL Best Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Miami Dolphins @ Kansas City Chiefs

The Dolphins and Chiefs will travel to Germany for their Week 9 matchup.

Kansas City is coming off a terrible loss against the Denver Broncos in Week 8. Before the game, it was reported that Patrick Mahomes was dealing with the flu. After that performance, it appears the reporting was true.

Assuming Mahomes will be back to full health in Germany, I expect a big bounce back.

The Dolphins will be trying to stop the narrative that they can’t beat good teams. This follows losses to the Bills and Eagles while only beating teams that do not have a winning record. Until the Dolphins show they can beat a team with a winning record, I like tfade them, especially when that test is the Kansas City Chiefs.

Bet: Chiefs -2.5 (-115)

NBA Best Bets

(Odds courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook)

Cleveland Cavaliers @ New York Knicks

Donovan Mitchell is one of the premier scorers in the NBA. He has shown that by averaging the second most points per game (35) this year. Mitchell has shown no signs of slowing his scoring, and that is something bettors can use to their advantage right now.

I am a big Jalen Brunson fan after last season. He has been shooting a high volume of shots this season, and that means the opportunity is there for him to score points. Continue to watch Brunson this season to see how he progresses.

Julius Randle has finally gotten some help on offense. That gives him more chances to get rebounds. Between Mitchell, RJ Barrett and Brunson taking all the shots, Randle will be down low to get the boards. That makes this the perfect way to round out this parlay.

Parlay Odds: +245

MLB Best Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Texas Rangers @ Arizona Diamondbacks

The Rangers will turn to Andrew Heaney to get them to an elimination game. He hasn’t pitched well as a starter, so he’s come out of the bullpen in his last two appearances. One was in Game 2, allowing one hit in 0.2 innings.

Joe Mantiply will get the start for Arizona, but it will only be a short-term situation. Two of his 35 appearances have been starts, and he’s gone a total of 2.1 innings.

We saw the difference between playing in a ballpark like Globe Life Field, which had the sixth-most home runs this year, to Chase Field, which had the fifth-fewest. Looking at the pitching matchup, this could be a battle of the bullpens. The even odds show that it can go either way. Most of the games in Arizona have been low-scoring, so that’s the way to ride tonight.

Pick: Under 9.5 Total Runs (-120)
