Las Vegas Raiders @ Miami Dolphins

The line of 10.5 is a big number to cover, but I still like the Dolphins to do it this week. The Dolphins are coming off a Week 10 bye and have been dominating teams with a .500-or-worse record this year.

The Dolphins are currently 6-3, with all six of those wins coming against teams with a .500-or-worse win percentage. In those six games, they are winning by an average of over 15 points per game. That number is skewed by their 70-20 win over the Broncos, but if you remove that game, they are still beating up on bad teams by nearly 10 points per game.

While the Raiders are coming into this game with a .500 record, sitting at 5-5 on the season, that record is a bit misleading. Their wins have come against the Broncos, Packers, Patriots, Giants and Jets, who have a combined 14-32 record.

After hearing all bye week that they are overrated, I like the Dolphins to win big in this one. Mike McDaniel has shown in the game against Denver that he is not afraid to run up the score.

Bet: Dolphins (-115)

Miami Heat @ Charlotte Hornets

LaMelo Ball has plenty of people around him who can score the ball. Gordon HaywardP.J. Washington and Brandon Miller can all score consistently. That means there will be plenty of opportunity for Ball to get assists tonight against Miami, who have started to heat up.

Bam Adebayo is a rebounding machine this season. He averages over 10 rebounds per game, and nothing seems to slow him down. The Hornets’ center is still young, and Adebayo can use that to his advantage tonight. He has the experience and athletic ability to grab rebounds.

The Hornets have a reputation for playing bad defense the last few years. That poor defense has continued into this season. Jimmy Butler is known for taking what teams give him, and tonight, there will be opportunities for Butler to score points.

Tampa Bay Lightning @ St. Louis Blues

Finally, let’s head out to Missouri, where the Lightning take on the Blues in a cross-conference showdown. This one is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Mo.

My initial lean was to back the Bolts, but considering they’ve lost five of their last seven games, I don’t think I can justify laying the juice with them. Instead, I’ll play the over at this lofty number of 6.5 goals. Many believed that Tampa Bay would play in higher-scoring games while Andrei Vasilevskiy was sidelined with an injury. That theory has been correct, considering Tampa is 10-5 to the over this season.

The big concern is whether the Blues can help contribute to the over. Well, they’re coming off of an eight-goal performance against the Avalanche (8-2) in their most recent game. They’ve gone 4-1-0 in their last five games, averaging 4.4 goals per game. The bottom line is that Tampa has the offensive stars to match the red-hot Blues if they continue to light up the scoreboard. I think we’re good for at least seven goals tonight in St. Louis.

Bet: Over 6.5 (-110)
