Alex Pereira is back to defend his belt at UFC 313 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He has become one of the biggest superstars in the sport and remains as active as ever. He will fight Magomed Ankalaev in one of the toughest matchups of his career.
Fan-favorite Justin Gaethje will also fight Rafael Fiziev in the co-main event. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET. The main card starts at 10:00 p.m. ET on pay-per-view (PPV).

UFC 313 Pereira vs. Ankalaev: Parlay Picks & Predictions
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Leg 1: Chris Gutierrez (-118)
Chris Gutierrez is fighting John Castaneda in the second fight of the card in the featherweight division. Gutierrez's last fight was a win against Quang Le via unanimous decision, moving him to 9-2-1 in the UFC. He has won three of his last five fights. Castaneda lost his previous fight to Daniel Marcos via unanimous decision, which moves him to 4-3 in the UFC after earning a contract on Dana White's Contender Series.
Gutierrez lands 4.72 significant strikes and absorbs 2.64 significant strikes per minute. He lands with 59% accuracy and defends 64% of significant strikes. Castaneda lands 4.67 significant strikes and absorbs 5.22 significant strikes per minute. He has 50% accuracy with his significant strikes and defends 54%. He will be there for Gutierrez to hit and kick.
Gutierrez's best weapon is his calf kick, which devastates opponents and limits their grappling attack. Castaneda has a four-inch reach advantage but does not utilize it as much as he should. He should be within boxing range when standing.
Castaneda averages 1.79 takedowns landed per 15 minutes but only lands with 35% accuracy. Gutierrez defends 71% of takedowns and has gotten better at defending takedowns and returning to his feet when taken down. Gutierrez should be able to fend off the wrestling attack of Castaneda and win on the scorecards.
Leg 2: Brunno Ferreira (+114)
I gave out Brunno Ferreira and Rizvan Kuniev in my preliminary picks article, so check it out for more detailed information on this fight and the fight below.
Ferreira is a tough fighter and will make this fight nasty with former kickboxer Armen Petrosyan. He had a tough matchup against Abus Magomedov in his last fight, but Magomedov can wrestle, which Petrosyan does not. Magomedov controlled Ferreira on the ground because he knew how powerful he was while standing.
Petrosyan will not be able to take him down and hold him there in the same fashion, which could cause trouble for him. Petrosyan does not have much power and tends to point-fight to try and win the fight on the scorecards. Ferreira can blitz Petrosyan and only needs one punch to end the fight. He should be able to find the knockout blow and finish this one early.
Leg 3: Rizvan Kuniev (+270)
Rizvan Kuniev is making his UFC debut against Curtis Blaydes, who just fought for the interim title against Tom Aspinall. He was knocked out in vicious fashion, which was the second time in three fights he was finished. It is an interesting matchup for the matchmakers to put together, considering it is Kuniev's debut.
Kuniev has the wrestling ability to negate Blaydes' wrestling and can stand with him. Blaydes has become a better striker as of late, but he is still not a well-rounded fighter. He relies on takedowns to control his opponent on the mat and grind out decision victories.
Kuniev has a much better chance in this fight than the odds suggest. I expect him to find his way inside against Blaydes and utilize his powerful elbows to find a knockout on the questionable chin of Blaydes.
Parlay Odds: +1362
