Updated 2022 AL MLB MVP Odds: Aaron Judge Closing Gap on Shohei Ohtani
Aaron Judge hit two home runs on Monday night to give him 17 for the season. Judge and the Yankees could not agree to terms on a contract extension before the season began, and Judge is betting on himself as he plays out the final year of his contract.
After six weeks, it appears Judge made the right choice.
Judge is now +450 to win the AL MVP according to the BettingPros Consensus MLB MVP Odds and FOX Bet, while FanDuel Sportsbook has the odds down to +360. Shohei Ohtani, at +250 consensus and +210 at both BetMGM Sportsbook and FanDuel, is still considered the favorite in the AL, while Manny Machado has a sizable lead in the NL MVP race.
