Updated MLB MVP Odds: Shohei Ohtani Overtakes Aaron Judge as AL Favorite
MLB futures bets offer some of the highest payouts but also present a significant risk because of the length of the season. Hot streaks, cold streaks, injuries, and team performance all play a factor, and MLB futures bets are typically a rollercoaster. Just when it looked like Aaron Judge was running away with the AL MVP, he went cold while Shohei Ohtani continued to be, well, Shohei Ohtani.
Ohtani’s consensus line is now at +125, and he’s as low as +105 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Judge is still holding strong at +150 (+165 on DraftKings), but he is slipping thanks to batting .222 with just one home run through the first two weeks of July. In the National League, Paul Goldschmidt is even money with Manny Machado in a distant second at +500.
