Updated Super Bowl Odds After Week 1

While it is important not to overreact to the results of Week 1, there were certainly a number of events that caused larger fluctuations in the market than might otherwise have happened. The New York Jets suffered a significant decrease due to the season-ending injury of QB Aaron Rodgers. While they opened at +2800 odds, they were at +1800 heading into their Monday Night Game and slid to +6600 following it.

The Giants (+5000 to +10000) and Vikings (+4000 to +6500) also took a hit.

On the flip side, the Dolphins took a small leap, moving from +4000 to +1800 after their offensive outburst against the Chargers. The Cowboys (+1600 to +1200), Lions (+2800 to +1800), and Browns (+4000 to +2200) also saw positive movement.
