Memphis Grizzlies @ Golden State Warriors

The season was over for the Grizzlies before it even started. The team dealt with suspensions and injuries galore this year. With that, the offense has been absolutely terrible. In three of Memphis' last five games, the Grizzlies have scored no more than 102.8 points per 100 possessions. They've also had a low effective field goal percentage and turned the ball over at a high rate.

The defense has also added turnovers at a high rate recently, but it's still not consistent enough to be relied on.

They'll take on the Golden State Warriors, who are making a playoff push. The Warriors aren't very consistent, either. However, Golden State has done very well on the offensive glass lately. In the last three games, the Warriors have hauled in at least 30.4% of offensive rebounds.

Meanwhile, Golden State has allowed 128 and 119 points in its last two games to the Lakers and Knicks. They've struggled to force turnovers and have watched those two teams shoot an effective field goal percentage of at least 56%. It's just unlikely the Grizzlies will match what the Lakers and Knicks did.

I'll back the Warriors ATS.

Bet: Warriors -9.5 (-115)

Arizona Coyotes vs. Dallas Stars

We have a Central Division showdown tonight, as the Coyotes square off against the Stars. Dallas is currently third in the division with 91 points, while Arizona is seventh in the standings (61 points). This one gets underway at 8:00 p.m. ET from the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

I'm going to play the over tonight in the Lone Star State. The Stars are the best "over team" in the league when playing at home, going 24-10 to the over. That's due to their dynamic offense, which is third in the league (3.6 GPG). The Stars bring in the ninth-best power play, cashing 23.76% of their man-advantage opportunities.

This will be a favorable matchup against a pedestrian Arizona defense. They're currently 23rd in overall defense (3.06 GAA) and 26th on the PK (76.00%). However, I believe the Yotes can also help contribute to the scoring tonight. Arizona is 3-2-0 in their last five games, averaging 3.4 goals per game over the five-game sample size. I'm expecting a barnburner between these two divisional foes; give me the over.

Bet: Over 6.5 (+100)

No. 14 Akron vs. No.7 Creighton (Thursday)

Akron is very fortunate to be dancing after the circumstances of their conference tournament win. With eight seconds left, Kent State had a one-point lead in the MAC Championship. Akron inbounded the ball, only for the Golden Flashes' Julius Rollins to forget the score and intentionally foul Greg Tribble. Tribble hit both free throws and Akron won.

They get a tough assignment going against Creighton in the first round. Playing in the competitive Big East, this team was tested throughout the season, and they finished with a respectable 15-9 record between Quad 1 & 2 opponents. They are not shy about shooting the ball, especially from deep, as their 29.3 attempts per game were eighth in the nation. The Blue Jays are efficient at moving the ball and finding Trey Alexander, Baylor Scheierman or Steven Ashworth from behind the arc. All three are shooting over 33% from three.

Akron likes to shoot themselves, but Creighton isn't a team that will let them have easy attempts, as they're 93rd in points allowed and 76th in defensive efficiency.

Pick: Creighton -12.5 (-110)
