Baltimore Ravens To Win the AFC (+650)
This isn't necessarily a dip in the market for the Ravens. Though they just wiped the floor with the Lions and still have the same odds for this market as a Bills team who has shown their warts multiple times this year.
Baltimore began this season with a new OC in the former Georgia Bulldogs OC Monken. It seems like their offense is starting to hit its stride in his system, with shades of MVP Lamar Jackson flashing on Sunday afternoon. Adding some starter-caliber receivers to this roster has really helped an offense that has struggled in the passing game in recent seasons, as the Ravens rank fifth in the NFL in net yards per pass attempt. They also rank top 10 in yards per rush attempt, and they're scoring the ninth-most points per possession.
On the defensive side of the ball, they remain as stout as ever, ranking in the top five in points allowed per possession, yards allowed per possession, yards allowed per passing attempt and first downs allowed. They also lead the NFL in sacks by a comfortable margin with 29 already, which is four more than the second-place Bills.
The AFC playoff picture is much too early to predict and will undoubtedly be a tougher path than the NFC. Still, I see this as a great price to buy the Ravens as a team with an outstanding defense and offense that will only improve. You're also backing one of the best head coaches in the league, John Harbaugh, who has had plenty of playoff success in his career.

NBA Best Bets

Detroit Pistons @ Miami Heat
Detroit won 31% of tips last year. That's only 25 in 82 games.
Meanwhile, the Heat added 53% of tips won and hit on 53% of first baskets. Miami also took 55% of first shots, while the Pistons only took 42% of first shots.
The Miami Heat might not have Gabe Vincent or Max Strus in the starting lineup anymore. However, the five starters will include Kyle Lowry, Tyler Herro, Jimmy Butler, Kevin Love and Bam Adebayo. It's the usual five for the Heat. Adebayo took nine first shots last season and scored on 14 first baskets. He was featured early in a lot of games for Miami.
Therefore, I'll take my chances with Adebayo to score first in tonight's game against the Pistons.
Bet: Bam Adebayo (+500)

Washington Capitals @ New Jersey Devils
The Capitals dropped their third straight game Monday night, losing 4-1 to the Maple Leafs. On the other hand, the Devils cruised to a 5-2 victory over the Canadiens, marking their second straight win. This divisional clash is set for 7:30 p.m. ET from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
I will not overthink this one; I'm taking the Devils on the puck line at even money. This game has all the makings of a massacre in favor of New Jersey. Let's start with the goaltending situation, where it's confirmed that 27-year-old Hunter Shepard will make his career debut with the Capitals. How's that for a debut situation? You get tasked with taking on a New Jersey team that has the fourth-shortest odds to win the Cup (+1100).
The Devils are on fire right now, especially on the man advantage. They're the league's top power play, finding the back of the net on 44.0% of the PP opportunities. Meanwhile, the Capitals have struggled to find goals, scoring just 1.3 goals per game this season. Their power play is abysmal, cashing at only 6.25% (30th). Everything favors the up-and-coming Devils to destroy the elderly Capitals tonight. Give me the Devils -1.5.
Bet: New Jersey Devils -1.5 (+100)
