WNBA Best Bets, Picks & Predictions: Sunday (6/4)
Weâve got a three-game slate in the WNBA tonight! All three games are projected to be slightly lopsided, with the lowest spread at -8.5 between the Sun and Wings.
The other two games have spreads of -13 and -15.
Should we lay or take the points in todayâs action? Here are my best bets for todayâs WNBA slate!

Chicago Sky vs. New York Liberty
The New York Liberty will take on the Chicago Sky at home this afternoon. The Liberty is led by Breanna Stewart, who has averaged 24.4 points per game on 51.9% from the field.
In their last matchup, the Liberty escaped Chicago on the road, 77-76. Now itâll be time to make some adjustments and improve in the second game against the Sky.
The Liberty shot the ball better, hitting 46.3% of shots. But the Chicago Sky hit 57.9% from downtown on 19 three-point attempts. Thatâs probably unsustainable, especially on the road. Chicago also earned 10 offensive rebounds and had ten more rebounds than the Liberty in that matchup.
But just seeing the Sky struggle to score inside the arc is enough for me to side with the Liberty. The Sky are shooting 37.3% from deep this season. Theyâre not going to hit nearly 58% from downtown. The Sky couldnât score inside the arc against the Liberty for a big portion of the game.
Take the Liberty -13.
Bet: Liberty -13 (-110)
Las Vegas Aces vs. Indiana Fever
The Las Vegas Aces are coming into todayâs game undefeated. The Aces are 5-0, led by Jackie Young, who has 22.4 points on 61.5% from the field. The Aces defeated the Atlanta Dream, 92-87, in their last matchup on the road. Theyâll stay out on the road to face the Indiana Fever, who just took a road loss to the Connecticut Sun.
Indiana is just 1-3 on the season. They also just finished up a three-game road trip. But itâs unlikely that Indiana can keep up with Las Vegas offensively.
The Aces have scored 95.6 points per game on 48.9% from the field. Meanwhile, the Fever have scored 75.5 points per game, give up 82 points per game and shoot under 40% from the field.
Indiana has shot 27.7% from downtown, but theyâre at least active on the offensive glass. Itâs just that the Aces are second in the WNBA in rebounds per game. Indiana wonât have its way on the glass against the Aces.
Las Vegas has been extremely consistent offensively. Theyâve also won four games by at least nine points while scoring at least 92 points in every game. Meanwhile, Indiana scored just 61 against the Sun, 73 against the Liberty, and 78 against the Sun again. The offense is improving, but it wonât be good enough against Las Vegas.
Back the heavy favorites today. Take the Aces to win big.
Bet: Aces -15 (-110)
