Tuesday’s WNBA Best Bets

Indiana Fever at Chicago Sky

After starting the season 1-4, the Indiana Fever travel to Chicago to take on Kahleah Copper and the Sky. Chicago's season hasn't been all too bad at a 4-3 record, coming off a solid 86-82 win at New York.

What these two teams lack, however, is offense. Copper leads the Sky at 17.1 points per game, and Kelsey Mitchell leads the Fever with 17.2 points per game. As a team, the Fever rank 10th in offensive rating while the Sky are close behind at 11th. These are two of the worst offenses in the game going at it tonight.

Defensively is where these two teams excel, respectively. This is how Chicago has won their games by depending on their third-ranked defense. The Fever also offers a pace-down spot for the Sky, so there will be fewer possessions altogether.

This game screams under, and I am going to listen.

Pick: Under 159.5 (-110)

Las Vegas Aces at Connecticut Sun

In a matchup of the two powerhouses of the league, an undefeated Aces squad takes on the 6-1 Sun at Connecticut.

The Aces are a ridiculously good team, but they have had close calls, winning each of their last two games by five points or less, going 1-3 ATS on the road. If there is a team ready to take down Las Vegas, it's the Sun.

The Sun is quite well-rounded, with a top-half ranking both offensively and defensively. A'ja Wilson saved the Aces last time out, something I can't imagine the Sun allowing. For Connecticut, they limited Dallas and Arike Ogunbowale to scraps offensively, and I imagine the Aces will struggle, too, after coming off a sub-90-point game.

This will be a close, down-to-the-wire game that potentially will come down to the final one or two possessions. The Sun ATS tonight is one of my favorite bets so far this season, but let’s go all the way and take the underdog moneyline.

Pick: Sun Moneyline (+210)
