New York Liberty vs. Los Angeles Sparks

The Liberty and Sparks have played a game against one another yet. This will be the first of three meetings between the two teams.

The Liberty recently took a bad loss to Minnesota a couple of days ago, with an 88-83 defeat. However, New York has still won eight of their last ten games and has proven to be one of the best teams in the league. They’ve averaged nearly 89 points per game and have shot over 45% from the field behind Breanna Stewart’s 23 points per game.

On the other hand, the Sparks ended an eight-game losing streak with a win over Indiana on July 25. Los Angeles again defeated on July 27 and is on a two-game winning streak. Los Angeles is playing better, but you’d have to expect the Liberty rebound from a bad loss to Minnesota earlier.

The Sparks are getting over 20 points per game from Nneka Ogwumike and 13.5 points from Jordin Canada. But they’re still without Lexie Brown, who is out with an injury as the third-leading scorer for the team.

On the other hand, the Liberty just shot poorly in their last game. They hit only 36.1% from the field and went 10-for-25 from deep. Minnesota beat them on the glass and watched more shots fall throughout the game. I like the Liberty to find themselves again.

Bet: Liberty  -9 (-110)

Dallas Wings vs. Las Vegas Aces

The Las Vegas Aces have lost two games all year. However, one of those losses came against the Dallas Wings. The Wings were home and escaped with an 80-78 win on July 7.

Dallas is 14-10 on the season. They’re hot, earning eight wins in their last ten games. The Wings haven’t been as consistent as the Aces, but recently, the Wings have been making noise and should be a championship contender when all is said and done.

Satou Sabally earned the franchise’s first triple-double after a win against the Mystics. They shot nearly 59% from the field and crushed the Mystics on the glass.

On the other hand, the Aces just scored 107 on the Chicago Sky. They were on a four-game road trip and won all the games by double figures.

Las Vegas hasn’t lost a single game at home. However, in the lone home game against the Wings, the Aces only won 89-82. Dallas will stick around. They’re slick on the glass and just need to shoot at a high level with the Aces.

I’ll give the Wings the benefit of the doubt. They’ve been one of the few teams that have been able to stick around against the Aces.

Bet: Wings +10  (-110)
