Tuesday’s Best WNBA Picks

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Seattle Storm (-2.5) at Chicago Sky (+130) | O/U 161.5 (-110/-110)

Seattle comes into this game fresh off the heels of a 101-point performance against the Fever on Saturday. That win improved their O/U record to 3-3 on the season. Seattle is also 3-3 against this 161.5-point game total this season. Chicago owns a 3-1 O/U record themselves and has additionally gone 3-1 against this 161.5-point game total.

The Storm are averaging 82,7 points thru six games while the Sky are averaging 83.5 points. Both of these teams are in bottom half of the league in terms of scoring average and yet them simply hitting their team averages would blow past this 161.5 number by almost five points at 166.2. This number (at time of writing) is simply too low and makes this easy over play even easier. I expect this number to continue to grow and should level out closer to the 166 number their averages suggest.

An excellent prop bet in this game is for Chicago’s Marina Mabrey to make 3+ three-pointers tonight. Mabrey averaged 3.0 long balls a game and is 3-1 against this total this season while making 3+ in three straight contests. Mabrey is off to a great start, leading the Sky in points (19.2) and assists (5.5) in the early goings so this prop is part and parcel to that.

WNBA Picks: Over 161.5 Total Points (-110) & Marina Mabrey Over 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (-110)
