WNBA Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (8/15)

Welcome to another day of the WNBA season. After going 3-0 last time, I hope to continue riding the hot streak tonight. It has been a solid season so far from a betting standpoint, and with about a month remaining in the season, I hope to continue that trend.

Here is my favorite play for tonight's Commissioner's Cup:

Last Time: 3-0
Season: 22-14

New York Liberty at Las Vegas Aces

After winning six straight games and 10 of their past 11 games, the New York Liberty have been red hot. Some of those wins have come by 30-plus points over the Aces and scoring 100 points in Indiana. Remarkably, they are seven-point underdogs tonight.

The Aces picked themselves up after their loss to the Liberty, winning three straight on the back of some historic performances by A'Ja Wilson, scoring 100-plus points as a team in two of those contests.

Watching Las Vegas lose so badly to New York in their most recent outing was truly fascinating. The Aces remain a juggernaut, leading the league in offensive rating, defensive rating and assist-to-turnover ratio.

This will be an awesome game, but I don't expect the same outing from the Aces. Las Vegas is 11-4 ATS, and New York is 6-8 ATS on the road. I think things come back down to earth for the Liberty tonight. I'll be taking the chalk here.

Bet: Aces -7.0 (-110)
