New York Liberty vs. Las Vegas Aces

This is the matchup that everyone wants to see. The Liberty and Aces are the best teams in the WNBA and will play each other for the first time this season.

The Aces are 13-1 and average a league-leading 92.8 points per game. Las Vegas has drained 49.7% from the field and 37.3% from deep. They’ve also hit close to 82% from the foul line.

On the other hand, the Liberty shot 45.6% from the floor while shooting 38% from downtown. Both teams are above average on the glass, and the Liberty also hit over 82% from the foul line.

Las Vegas is led by Jackie Young. She’s averaging 19.9 points per game through 14 games this season. A’Ja Wilson is right behind her with 19.6 points per game. She’s also added over nine rebounds per contest. The Aces are loaded with talent, especially knowing Kelsey Plum and Candace Parker aren’t even the top two scorers on the roster.

Meanwhile, the Liberty don’t lack talent either. Their top scorers include Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu. Ionescu struggled in her last matchup against the Sun, scoring just six points. But Stewart carried the Liberty to an 89-81 win.

Both teams have enough talent to get this game over the total. Let’s take the Over.

Bet: Over 174.5 (-110)

Minnesota Lynx vs. Seattle Storm

The Minnesota Lynx defeated the Seattle Storm 104-93 two days ago. Seattle only has four wins on the season, while the Lynx have five wins on the year.

These two teams aren’t close to the Aces or Liberty, but they both have an offense. Minnesota’s Napheesa Collier has averaged 21.8 points per game and added a career-high 33 points against the Storm on Tuesday. The entire Lynx starting lineup was in double figures against the Storm.

Minnesota shot 53.2% from the field and 40% from downtown. They also went 14-15 from the line against the Storm at home. But now they’ll be on the road. You’d think that would present challenges for the Lynx. However, the Lynx are 2-5 at home and 3-4 on the road.

On the other hand, the Storm are just 2-7 at home. They shot well against the Lynx after shooting 45.9% from the field. They couldn’t defend the paint. The Lynx added 54 points in the paint, while Seattle added only 32 points. That’s where they got beat and likely where they get beat again tonight.

Let’s back the Lynx to earn a road win tonight.

Bet: Lynx +1.5 (-110)
