Sky vs. Wings WNBA Same Game Parlay

  • Leg 1: Diamond DeShields Over 11.5 Points (-130)
  • Leg 2: Angel Reese Over 6.5 Rebounds (-136)
  • Leg 3: Natasha Howard Over 7.5 Rebounds (-120)

Diamond DeShields is back with the Chicago Sky for the 2023 season. She began her career with the Sky in 2018 but, after four seasons, went to the Phoenix Mercury in 2022. Last year, DeShields missed the entire season due to a knee injury. But now she’s back where she’s most comfortable: with the Sky.

DeShields has averaged 13.2 points per game in his career. She’ll also start at one of the three guard spots for tonight’s opening game. In the first two pre-season games, the Sky eased her into game action. But now that the regular season has started, DeShields should be near a full-go.

Meanwhile, Angel Reese will also start as a rookie for the Sky. Reese added 13 points and five rebounds in only 19 minutes of action against the New York Liberty backups in the final preseason game. In 24 minutes against the Lynx in the first preseason game, she hauled in nine rebounds in 24 minutes. For rookies, scoring can get tricky in debuts. But rebounding won’t be.

Finally, Natasha Howard played 39 games for the Dallas Wings last year and hauled in eight rebounds per game. She’s a veteran who has been in the league since 2014. Howard has also played with five different teams in the WNBA throughout her career. Her rebound rate has been around eight over the last five seasons.

WNBA Same Game Parlay Odds: +466

Dream vs. Sparks WNBA Same Game Parlay

  • Leg 1: Rhyne Howard Over 17.5 Points (-130)
  • Leg 2: Cameron Brink Under 12.5 Points (+104)
  • Leg 3: Tina Charles Over 7.5 Rebounds (+104)

In the most recent preseason game, Rhyne Howard exploded for 13 points in just 16 minutes against the Indiana Fever. She nailed 3-of-5 from downtown and figures to be just as efficient from downtown in this game against the Sparks.

Howard is heading into her third season in the league. In the first two, she’s averaged about 17 points per game. But she added 17.5 points per game last season and figures to be an even bigger portion of the offense this season.

On the other hand, Tina Charles has played in the league since 2010. She’s a 35-year-old veteran who still dominates the glass. While her rebound rate has dropped since she began her career, Charles still averaged 9.3 rebounds per game and will get one more chance in the league with the Dream in 2024. She’ll make the most of it.

Meanwhile, Cameron Brink, one of the top picks of this year’s draft, has been getting in foul trouble quickly. She’ll start for the Los Angeles Sparks, but she only got to play 30 minutes in the first two preseason games. With that, Brink failed to add more than 11 points in either of those games.
